Missions
To say that FBC is mission oriented is almost an understatement. The Mission Team doesn’t seek help from its members, but instead has to work hard to keep up with their requests of “what more can we as a church do to support missions locally, nationally and globally.” Whether it is a financial need or volunteer need, there is never a shortage of help.
Our missions efforts range from gathering and shipping old Sunday School literature to Edwin L. Hodges Ministries, donating to Salvation Army Angel Tree, purchasing new coats for our local middle and high school students in need, creating chemo kits to anyone identified in our community in need, sewing colorful bags and creating children hygiene kits for Franklin Cooperative Ministry, Easter baskets and cards for homebound members, building handicap ramps for members, and other needs as a need is found. They also are committed to support two CBF missionary families in the field.
Come join us on the third Thursday evening of the month at 5:30 PM in the fellowship hall.
